It really does not matter what it is, short of something illegal or unethical of course. Whether you prefer to earn with an affiliate program, decide to sell your own solution, working e-bay, whatever it is, if you use the right focus - "point of concentration and directed attention" - in it, long enough, you will succeed.

You must decide what it is you like to focus on, then not let yourself be diverted away from that, especially if you are just starting out. Start with only 1-3 things then as you do well you will learn how to implement what you learned to any new program or idea you want to.

Once you determine what it is you want to focus on then you can start improving that focus. Fine tune it so to speak. Learn to do the things that will bring the object of your focus to the top of success. For example automating as most of the daily tasks as possible, researching and gaining any knowledge required to bring success in the subject you have chosen, utilizing the power of a good viral site that will facilitate you build your programs from one site and more.

Regardless of what you have heard or been informed, most money made on the Internet does not come quickly. You will have to have a system ready with a well laid out plan on how to make that system work successfully.
